What is CE Marking?
CE marking is a common way to communicate the assessed performance of a construction product.
When your product is covered by an applicable harmonised technical specification, you must follow the relevant assessment process. This mark lets your product in the declared performance of materials, and it's worth being clear on what it doesn't do. It isn't a quality assurance award, and it doesn't confirm a product is suitable for every possible application. Specifiers and users will need to weigh the declared performance against the demands of their project.
